Annette Wozniak is an uprising talent emerging in Toronto. Annette’s passion for music and performing arts began at the age of 6. Her earliest experiences on stage were in ballet, as well as singing and dancing with a Competitive travelling Polish folk group and Acting for community theatre. These early encounters inspired her to expand her talents into modelling and further into acting. Annette travelled to New York and Los Angeles and was chosen to take part in competitions as a model and actor amongst many aspiring young artists. Annette received top awards in her age category. Her love for the performing arts followed her into high school and led her into Collage. Annette was accepted into The Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts Triple Threat Program. Upon Graduating, Annette has successfully been cast in many lead roles in independent projects, commercials, TV shows, but mostly films, some of which are now known.
Annette’s most recent recognizable work is on a Feature Film called BITE. BITE is Annette’s very first Feature Film; she was cast as a lead. BITE travelled through the film circuit for 6 months where it was accepted into 23 festivals around the world, in that time and won numerous awards. BITE went on to receive distribution through Shout! Scream Factory Distribution. The film played in select Theatres in the States and is now available to view on most Video on Demand Platforms and to own in the States. BITE will be available to view/own in Canada on Blu-ray and DVD as of September through United Front Entertainment/Breakthrough Entertainment and Distribution. Annette’s second Feature Film Secret Santa, she was cast as the main lead is currently in the film festival circuit but received early distribution through WildEye Releasing. Secret Santa is a horror/comedy film with a plot line revolving around Christmas; it will be available to watch on VOD and on the shelves before this Christmas. Annette recently won her very first Award for “Best Actress in a Feature Film” at London, Ontario’s Shock Stock Film Festival because of her work in Secret Santa. She hopes to have many other opportunities arise in her Film and Television Career in the future. She also enjoys making people laugh on and off the big screen, painting all the blank canvases that are currently living under her bed, creating artwork to Auction with charities (like “A Brush of Hope”) and anything to do with animals, especially dogs and horses.
